Love love love Dr. Young and her staff! My first meeting was a sad one, we can home from visiting family out if state and one of our dogs was breathing hard. We were not clients of Cape Veterinary but they had been the closest open vet. They took us right in and helped us. We found out our dig had tumors in his lungs, one which ruptured. The level of compassion we received was mind blowing. These people didn't even know us, yet still sat with us while we made the decision to stop Ozzy's suffering. Not just sat with us but held us, comforted us. I could go on. This place, these people, Dr. Young herself are the most wonderful people, anyone who says different must not have gone to her. There is a special place in our hearts for them. Forever!

This place needs to be closed down I took my dog there for a bladder stone surgery they never asked if her shots were up to date, never signed consent forms never returned my calls DID NOT allow me to see her after surgery kept giving me the run around I came to find out when I walked into they're office the day after that my dog had passed they performed her surgery at 5"0clock PM and left her there overnight without supervision this so called DR Young had her license revoked in the state of Ohio I also have a friend that worked there she dated my son she said the things that go on there are horror stories animals dying I regret not contacting her before so please beware of this place ask around I have heard horror stories after the incident with my dog, I ran into someone who his dog was given the wrong medication for allergies and now he is blind this place needs to go and I wont stop until justice is served and I know God will do what's right because he created these poor helpless babies Dr Young is a lier she writes on here that I chose to leave my pet over night well yes I did and why because Nancy told me if I would leave her overnight they would start the surgery first thing in the morning well that did not happen as they promised my dog never went into surgery till 5:00 PM that day they kept telling me they had too many emergencies blah blah blah all day I sat in the lobby until the surgery was finished they did not allow me to see her right after or the following morning either now I know why she was already DEAD!!!!!! and they were afraid I was going to show up at the practice with patients in the lobby that is why I did not find out about my dog's death until I decided to show up after work and then they pulled me into a room and there was no guy in there it was Young and Nancy that was it as far as taking me to court go ahead I want you to take me I am stating my opinion and I have all the right in the world none of you scare me as far as my dogs remains I did not take them home that night because I was so upset how dare you speak so heartless you did not return her to me because I owe you money you have NO compassion and you did not want me to take her for an autopsy her scar was from her neck all the way down and you know it what is that every vet I have told my story to knows of your practice from all the patients that leave your place good luck in the future you will need it.....OMG they have a review on here from James Harwood which is Dr Youngs boyfriend trying to act like a customer he is the person who performed surgery on my dog and has NO LICENSE!!!!!! what a JOKE I'm telling you DO NOT GO HERE for the sake of your pets!!!!!

I took my dog because she had blood in her urine they gave me antibiotics for 10 days it got a bit clearer but then started having some more blood I then took her back well this time they did x-rays and blood work, it turned out she had bladder stones so they told me if I were to leave her overnight they would perform surgery first thing in the AM so I decided I would leave her there so that they could start first thing in the AM like they said they would, to make a long story short the surgery did not start until 5 0'clock PM when I walked in after waiting and stressing all day I waited in the lobby until they finished the Dr came out told me she was fine and resting he said I could call the next day so I could take her home well when I called the next morning they kept giving me the run around I asked if I could see her on my lunch break they said NO because they were having too many patients coming in and out when I showed up the day after @5'0clock again after work I walked in the y told me my dog had just passed they pulled me into a room and made up some story that my dog collapsed so they decided to perform an autopsy without my consent without me even knowing what was going on with my baby they never returned her remains because until this day they are still calling to collect money from me, I later went on the BBB and looked up Cindy Young it turned out she had her license revoked in the state of Ohio because she had employees performing certain things without having a license this has been a horrible nightmare that I will never get over till this day I dont know what really happened and why would you not have someone supervising an animal that just had surgery over night so please think twice before taking your pet to this horrible place !!!!!

They have such a bad reputation. I don't even think the vets are all licensed. I can't find any credentials on the guy that did my friends surgery for her that ended in her dogs death. She can't even get a copy of the report as to why her dog died or what they did for her but they were able to send her a bill for $1,000.00.
