Dr. Ivy Engstrom is an amazing Vet Doc.!!!! I took all my animals to her when I lived in WA State (Lord how I miss being there!) I have lived in Colorado for the last 7 years. Never have I found a vet with the compassion she does. & years later I still call her to verify what the docs do/recomend here. Every time I talk to her she gives me advice on how exactly to take care of the animal in question which is 100 x's what the vets here do/say. She never treats me like I can't, and only she can...(like the vets here) She treats me like an equal and helps me take care of my four legged children, as financially and economically as possible. 15,000,000 thumbs up. Amazing woman! Completely blessed God led me to A Valley Animal Hospital and Dr. Engstrom

We only will take our animals to see Dr. Ivy. Her down to earth approach will help any pet owner feel like their loved ones are in good hands. We had gone to see 3 other vets in the area, and found that pricing and services from A Valley Animal Hospital is unmatched. Her staff are all wonderful and informed too!

We take all 3 cats to Dr Ivy although we have moved out of the area. Clinic staff are friendly and knowledgable. One of our cats had major surgery, removing a large tumor. Staff were great about addressing my concerns and (frequent) calls.

Dr. Ivy is a great vet, she has treated our family pets for years. She communicates with common language answers to complex issues, the educates the owner in care and she knows exactly how to treat your pet - with professionalism, experience and compassion.

I brought my puppy in for a spay at 8:30am. The front desk techs were great, but what really made me mad is that they asked if I would like to be present for the spay and I said yes please call me. I didnt hear back from them by 12, so I decided to give them a call and the lady answers and says were just getting back from lunch we'll give you a call. I didn't get a call until 2:30 from the vet saying oh I'm sorry we forgot to call you. She was not very compassionate at all. It was just like oops sorry forgot to call you. I was very upset this is my first dog and I really wanted to be there for her procedure.
