An urgent situation came up with my 9 week old kitten Callie. I was able to call the clinic, quick answers over the phone about my kittens condition , and upfront pricing over the phone. Was able to get imminently in, and had no wait , as told by the staff on the phone. Was able to have my kitty examined, and started on medication . The staff was professional and courteous. Dr Brown was able to diagnose Callie's condition quickly, and able to add professional advice for the kittens health. I WOULD COME BACK AGAIN!

Had a bit of a scare with kitty vomiting and multiple-day constipated, some serious agony on her part. Dr. Donnaway and Kim were professional, kind, and very, very helpful. Also affordable! The name doesn't lie. Thanks so much, AAEC! I will definitely be back if there are any more emergencies!

We had to take our dog here at around 11:30 pm. She got into the garbafe can and ate some hot coco mixture. We didnt know what was going on, and were frantically looking for a place that we could take her so late in the evening. I called them and was given a base price right there on the phone. They were oh so wonderful to myself and my pup. They worked with us on our options due to finances, and they were very welcoming. I could see they cared about my pup as much as I do in those moments with her. They were very gentle, and the doctor was even laughing at my poor pup peeing on the table. They were wonderful. My only complaint is that it took a bit of time to get started, but once they warmed up to us, we sat and talked for quite a while. Thank you all for making my pup feel better!

We met Dr Brown in 2008 when our Shih Tzu Alex was extremely ill. We got Alex as a puppy and he was always very healthy low maintenance medically. The illness he had contracted took him down fast. He had bloody diarrhea and vomiting by the evening of the third day. Very concerned we sought out medical help. We called Dr Brown at affordable animal emergency and he said we could bring Alex in right away. We weren't there for more than five minutes before Dr Brown was checking our little guy over. Dr Brown told us he needed to run some tests and x-rays to determine what was wrong. He gave an estimate of what the charges would be and we agreed to proceed. Within three or four days he was back to his happy little self. Now six years later Alex was having problems getting around . Dr Brown told us in 2008 he saw a problem spot in Alex's back and would have trouble with it later in life, well he was right. Now back in Dr Browns care he prescribed medication to improve Alex's quality of life WOW what a difference hes getting around much better and even playing again. In our opinion Dr brown is a great veterinarian and clearly passionate about caring for animals. Thank You Dr Brown Chris & Rhonda

My dog got mauled after hours so I turned to Google to find an emergency vet. I felt that the service I received was effective and knowledgeable, but they really earned my appreciation by itemizing the cost and giving me options. I was looking for a way to lower the bill, and I opted to forego the anti-inflammatory oral pills and injection. No one pressured me to include them - and I was even allowed to help hold my dog during the cleaning process. Eventually I did ask the vet about the anti-inflammatory, and she simply said that based on her experience she thought it would help, although I could skip the injection and just do the pills. It just felt like an honest place. My total bill was 157 dollars... which is not bad for it after dark on a Friday night, getting my dog shaved and cleaned, antibiotic injection, and a 10 day supply of two medicines. I was seen for over an hour. Money well spent.
