I have been taking my animals to Dr. Beachy since 1978. Yes, he's gruff, but his heart is in the animals, he has a great sense of humor and he's been spot-on all my animal's diagnosis. My concern is the health of my animals. How he treats his staff is their concern. If he's grumpy to his staff, they must be used to it or they'd move on and many have been there a very long time.

Do not believe what you read in the other reviews. I have know Dr. Beachy for some time now, his personality is one that is rare and until you get to know him, it seems very rough. But when you do, get to know him, he will make you smile and you will feel his heart is into taking care of animals. I worked for him for a couple years and got to know him and the staff well. He is one of the kindest men I have ever met, he cares so deeply for the well being of animals and your pets. He and the staff will always put your animals first. He has a wonderful family and they are always willing to go the extra mile for your pets health.

Staff is really nice but, Dr. is not very nice to his staff. I could hear him "bitching" them out. "Go into that room, GO!". I am going, do not PUSH me. Then I heard him say "I do not want to do this one" and it was my room he was talking about. He MAY be a great DR. seems to me he could be nicer to his staff. Some one was in a really bad mood that day! I took my animal elsewhere....
