We have adopted several kittens from PAWS. It breaks my heart to see the amount of kittens and cats that are brought to their clinic. The front office girls are never off the phone (Katie, Toni) . The nursing staff (Tami in particular) are constantly doing something to attend to the animals in the back. I also want to note that Tami works in the clinic all week and then I see her at PetSmart on weekends trying to get dogs/cats adopted!!! Their clinic is old but CLEAN. These people are trying to take care of the unwanted and there are thousands of them. How can anyone judge their clinic or staff negatively. They are a limited veterinary care clinic, mainly spay/neuter and provide shots. THEY DON'T GET PAID ENOUGH FOR WHAT THEY DO. I am sure they would need extra donations and volunteers to help maintain the clinic. Most people don't know that they go through about 350 or more POUNDS OF DOG food a week-giving it out for free. While I was there last week a gentleman came in needing food for his pet and it was happily given to him. Don't forget PAWS. They need blankets, toys, food, donations, whatever help you can offer and some supportive words for all of their staff and volunteers. Linda J. Bunck Cape Coral, Fl

I was exceptionally surprised and quite disappointed to hear the way my mother was treated this week by the staff at Paws after they came so highly recommended. I have only heard wonderful things. I live out of town, but your Facebook gives the impression that you do great work. However, after my brother saved two puppies from starvation (the one puppy already lost some of its siblings to deprivation), my mother nursed them back to health and fell in love. Yet, she was met with unprovoked hostility and derogation by the staff while trying to figure out the most affordable way to get these 2 precious, unforeseen family additions spayed and neutered. I did not appreciate the implications and assumptions that the staff made towards her and due to this, she will be canceling her appointment tomorrow with Paws and we will go elsewhere with our business. Thank you for your time and best wishes in the future.

I have two chihuahuas who were spayed/neutered at PAWS. They both healed up great and the stitches on the girl were well done. No real scarring to note. When I picked the boy up I was notified that he still had a baby tooth (he was neutered late) that had decay so they removed it while he was out. His new tooth came in great and no more bad breath magically. They also were helpful in getting us started on heartworm/flea meds once the pups reached proper weight. Thanks P.A.W.S.

They have always been very kind and nice and I have always had a great experience when taking rescues and my own pets to this vet, They are great! I would recommend them to anyone!

I have taken many stray/feral cats into PAWS to help control the pet population and they are very reasonable and accommodating when it comes to feral cats. This is not a fancy vet office but they are folks that care.
